Took advantage of the perfect-weather day and had a birthday picnic in Central Park. Alexis and I are posing for our Hat Squad: Summer Edition pic. I am wearing my eyelet Ruby dress.

Pulled this quilted top out of the closet, I think I have only worn it once or twice since I made it four (OMG 5!!) years ago. Its hard to not see all my mistakes when I look at it. Now that I am wearing it, though, I don’t mind it! So I should wear it more!!! The quilting also really nice and cozy in the yoke on this dreary day.

Here’s what I wore for week 1 of Me Made May!

May 1

Hampton Jean Jacket and Ginger Jeans. Here’s the current jacket patch situation. There’s a Basque cross, a Big Sur redwood, a big lotus flower and an awesome Pennsylvania one that’s almost cut off in this pic.

May 2

Hampton Jean Jacket again… and an Inari dress. If this weather keeps up, you’ll be seeing a lot of this jacket.

I wore my Myosotis dress again! We have dear friends in town and we met up at a wine event.

Took the day off to spend time with out of town friends. We really lucked out with the weather and spent the day in the park. Lizzie snapped this photo of my mended tank top while we had a caffeine knitting break.
